Probably not the answer you want, but:

(1) replace sendmail with exim
(2) at the top of your routers, add a new one which writes the message to
    a file. Use the 'unseen' option so that routing continues with another
    copy of the message.

"unseen
Type:  boolean
Default:  false

When this option is set true, routing does not cease if the router accepts
the address. Instead, a copy of the incoming address is passed to the next
router. This option can be used to cause copies of messages to be delivered
to some other destination, while leaving the normal delivery untouched."
