Dear AFRINIC Member,<br>
<br>
NomCom2020 is pleased to announce that the AFRINIC Board
Nomination process is open for the following seats:<br>
<br>
- Seat 3 (Indian Ocean), to serve a three-year term from mid-2020
to mid-2023. This seat is currently held by Mr Subramanian
Moonesamy<br>
<br>
- Seat 4 (Central Africa), to serve a three-year term from
mid-2020 to mid-2023. This seat is currently held by Dr Christian
D. Bope<br>
<br>
- Seat 8 (non-regional), to serve a three-year term from mid-2020
to mid-2023. This seat is currently held by Mr Serge Ilunga<br>
<br>
- Seat 6 (Eastern Africa),to serve a two-year term from mid-2020
to mid-2022 previously held by Mr Robert Ford Nkusi<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Any suitable natural person residing in one of the above regions
can be nominated (for that sub-region) provided they comply with
the requirements in Section 13 of the by-laws.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
A nominee shall:<br>
<br>
l Be nominated by one (1) AFRINIC member in good standing or be
formally endorsed by at least two (2) AFRINIC members in good
standing in case of self-nomination.<br>
<br>
l A member can nominate no more than one candidate, and may second
not more than two candidates.<br>
<br>
l Have participated in at least two (2) AFRINIC events (physically
or online) in the past three (3) years;<br>
<br>
l Have at least five (5) years professional experience in an area
relevant to AFRINIC activities, such as Internet Resource
Management, ICT, policy development, finance, audit and HR
management;<br>
<br>
l Not be a member of a decision-making body (such as a Board) of
an organization which may create any conflict of interest;<br>
<br>
l Be available and committed to participate in Board meetings and
other AFRINIC activities (face-to-face and online).<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Kindly note the following as stipulated in Section 11 of the
AFRINIC bylaws:<br>
<br>
No person shall be appointed or hold office as a Director if he is
a person who:<br>
<br>
(i) is under 18 years of age;<br>
<br>
(ii) is an undischarged bankrupt;<br>
<br>
(iii) would, but for the repeal of Section 117 of the Companies
Act 1984 of Mauritius, be prohibited from being a Director or
promoter of, or being concerned or taking part in the management
of, a company within the meaning of that Act;<br>
<br>
(iv) is prohibited from being a director or promoter of or being
concerned or taking part in the management of a company under
Sections 337 or 338 of the Act;<br>
<br>
(v) is not a natural person; or<br>
<br>
(vi) has been adjudged to have been of unsound mind<br>

Cher membre de l’AFRINIC,<br>
<br>

NomCom2020 a le plaisir d'annoncer que le processus de nomination
au conseil d'administration de l'AFRINIC est ouvert pour les
sièges suivants :<br>
<br>
· Le siège 3 (océan Indien), pour un mandat de trois ans, de
mi-2020 à mi-2023. Ce siège est actuellement occupé par M.
Subramanian Moonesamy<br>
<br>
· Le siège 4 (Afrique centrale), pour un mandat de trois ans, de
mi-2020 à mi-2023. Ce siège est actuellement occupé par le Dr
Christian D. Bope<br>
<br>
· Le siège 8 (non régional), pour un mandat de trois ans, de

Toute personne physique appropriée résidant dans l'une des régions
susmentionnées peut être désignée (pour cette sous-région) à
condition d’être en accord avec l'article 13 des statuts.<br>

Une personne désignée doit :<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
· Être nommé par un (1) membre AFRINIC en règle ou être
formellement approuvé par au moins deux (2) membres AFRINIC en
règle en cas d'une auto-nomination.<br>
<br>
· Un membre ne peut proposer plus d'un candidat et peut apporter
un soutien à deux candidats au maximum.<br>
<br>
· Avoir participé à au moins deux (2) événements AFRINIC
(physiquement ou en ligne) au cours des trois (3) dernières années
;<br>
<br>
· Avoir au moins cinq (5) ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un
domaine en rapport avec les activités de l'AFRINIC, tel que la
gestion des ressources Internet, les TIC, l'élaboration de
politiques, les finances, l'audit et la gestion des ressources
humaines ;<br>
<br>
· Ne pas être membre d'un organe décisionnel (tel qu'un conseil
d'administration) d'une organisation susceptible de créer un
quelconque conflit d'intérêts ;<br>
<br>
· Être disponible et s'engager à participer aux réunions du
conseil d'administration et aux autres activités de l'AFRINIC (en
personne et en ligne).<br>

<br>
Veuillez noter ce qui suit, conformément à l'article 11 des
statuts de l'AFRINIC :<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
(i) a moins de 18 ans d’âge ;<br>
<br>
(ii) est un failli non rehabilitée ;<br>
<br>
(iii) si ce n’était pour l’abrogation de l’article 117 de la Loi
sur<br>
<br>
les sociétés de 1984 de Maurice, être interdit d’être un<br>
<br>
directeur ou promoteur, ou être concerné par ou prendre<br>

يسر NomCom2020 أن تعلن أن عملية ترشيح مجلس AFRINIC مفتوحة للمقاعد
التالية:<br>
<br>
λ المقعد 3 (المحيط الهندي) ، لمدة ثلاث سنوات من منتصف عام 2020 إلى
منتصف 2023. يشغل هذا المقعد حاليًا السيد Subramanian Moonesamy<br>
<br>
λ المقعد 4 (وسط إفريقيا) ، لمدة ثلاث سنوات من منتصف 2020 إلى منتصف
2023. يشغل هذا المقعد حاليًا الدكتور كريستيان دي<br>
<br>
λ المقعد 8 (غير الإقليمي) ، لمدة ثلاث سنوات من منتصف 2020 إلى

وتطوير السياسات والتمويل والتدقيق وإدارة الموارد البشرية ؛<br>

λ ألا تكون عضوًا في هيئة صنع القرار (مثل مجلس الإدارة) في منظمة قد
تخلق أي تضارب في المصالح ؛<br>

λ كن متاحًا وملتزمًا بالمشاركة في اجتماعات مجلس الإدارة وأنشطة
AFRINIC الأخرى (وجهاً لوجه وعبر الإنترنت).<br>

Caro membro da AFRINIC,<br>
<br>

O NomCom2020 tem o prazer de anunciar que o processo de nomeação
do Conselho AFRINIC está aberto para os seguintes lugares:<br>
<br>
Lugar 3 (Oceano Índico), para servir um mandato de três anos de
meados de 2020 a meados de 2023. Este lugar é actualmente ocupado
pelo Sr. Subramanian Moonesamy.<br>
<br>
Assento 4 (África Central), para servir um mandato de três anos,
de meados de 2020 a meados de 2023. Este lugar é actualmente
ocupado pelo Dr. Christian D. Bope.<br>
<br>
Lugar 8 (não regional), para servir um mandato de três anos, de
meados de 2020 a meados de 2023. Este lugar é actualmente ocupado
pelo Sr. Serge Illunga.<br>

Lugar 6 (África Oriental), para servir um mandato de dois anos, de
meados de 2020 a meados de 2022, anteriormente ocupado por Robert

Qualquer pessoa singular adequada residente numa das regiões acima
referidas pode ser nomeada (para essa sub-região) desde que cumpra
os requisitos da Secção 13 dos estatutos.<br>

A pessoa nomeada deverá:<br>
<br>
Ser nomeado por um (1) membro AFRINIC em pleno gozo de seus
direitos ou ser formalmente endossado por pelo menos dois (2)
membros AFRINIC em pleno gozo de seus direitos em caso de
auto-nomeação.<br>
<br>
Um membro pode nomear não mais que um candidato e pode destacar
não mais que dois candidatos.<br>
<br>
Ter participado de pelo menos dois (2) eventos AFRINIC
(fisicamente ou on-line) nos últimos três (3) anos;<br>
<br>
Ter pelo menos cinco (5) anos de experiência profissional numa
área relevante para as actividades de AFRINIC, tais como Gestão de
Recursos de Internet, TIC, desenvolvimento de políticas, finanças,
auditoria e gestão de RH;<br>
<br>
Não ser membro de um órgão de tomada de decisão (como um Conselho)
de uma organização que possa criar qualquer conflito de
interesses;<br>
<br>
Estar disponível e empenhado em participar nas reuniões do
Conselho e outras actividades AFRINIC (presenciais e online).<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Por favor, observe o seguinte, conforme estipulado na Seção 11 do
estatuto da AFRINIC:<br>
<br>
Nenhuma pessoa pode ser nomeada ou ocupar um cargo de Diretor se
for uma pessoa que:<br>
<br>
(i) seja menor de 18 anos de idade;<br>
<br>
(ii) seja uma pessoa falida não apurada;<br>
<br>
(iii) estaria, mas pela revogação do artigo 117 da Lei das
Sociedades de 1984 da Maurícia, proibida de ser administrador ou
promotor de uma sociedade, ou de estar envolvido ou participar na
gestão de uma sociedade na acepção da referida lei;<br>

(iv) está proibido de ser administrador ou promotor de uma
sociedade, de estar envolvido ou de participar na gestão de uma
sociedade, nos termos dos artigos 337º ou 338º do Acto;<br>
<br>
(v) não seja uma pessoa singular; ou<br>
<br>
(vi) foi julgado por ter sido de mente insensata<br>
