<p dir="ltr"><span>The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Nominating Committee (NomCom) is now accepting applications for key leadership positions within the ICANN policy councils. These roles provide a rare and meaningful opportunity for leaders to help shape global Internet governance policies and the technical coordination of the Internet’s unique identifier systems.</span></p>

<p dir="ltr"><span>AFNOG's support in sharing this announcement will help ensure a diverse and capable pool of candidates dedicated to upholding the multi-stakeholder model and advancing global Internet policy.</span></p>

<p dir="ltr"><span>This year, the NomCom is undertaking extra outreach efforts</span><span> to identify and encourage highly qualified candidates for the important policy-focused positions within ICANN’s Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees, specifically:</span></p>
