[afren] Domain name and website

Dear All,

I prefer to start a new thread to make things easier to follow on the
subject above.

1) I had posted a message informing that afrenforum.net has been reserved
for our discussions. The last 2 days, there are some other suggestions on
other domain names. The question is: did all of us receive the email
suggesting afrenforum.net or not? As emails can get lost, I suggest that in
future postings new domain name proposals (at least) quote previous ones and
explain why the new one is more suitable for our forum.

2) To come back to the community we are building bit by bit, it's important
to stress out that AfREN is NOT an organisation; it"s a concept and a
platform where African REN  intesrested people (in and outside Africa) can
exchange experiences, views, best practices, etc. That's why I thought that
afrenFORUM.net is an appropriate domain name for our community to use.

3) As said above and in a previous email, afrenforum.net has already been
registered for our community; if you think it's not appropriate, so continue
to make other suggestions and we will decide in the near future which one to
use.
