Establishment of RITER, the NREN of Cote d'Ivoire.

The 28 and 29 November 2011, in collaboration with the Association of
African Universities, a workshop under the patronage of the President of
the Republic, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education
and Scientific Research and co-chair Minister of Posts and ICT, took place
in Abidjan. This important workshop was attended by all partners in
education and research, has created the Ivorian Telecommunication Network
for Education and Research (RITER). The workshop also identified the
strategic directions of RITER and makes recommendations to the place of the
