Chrome lined barrels don't really  hide  imperfections, they  cause them.  When the  chrome  is deposited on  the bore  of  the barrel,  it  is impossible to get it  perfectly distributed.  Therefore the barrel will always be slightly  changed when the  chrome  is put  on.  It's much more likely that you'll have a super, super accurate  barrel without chrome than it is  that  you'll have the same barrel with chrome.  

It's all  a  matter of degree, however.   The error that is caused by the chrome will be very small,  and  won't  affect  the accuracy enough  to be noticed by anyone  but  the absolute  best shooters, with the  absolute  best ammo and the absolute best conditions.   In other words, unless this is a match rifle, and possibly even then, get the  chrome lined barrel.   The  benefits outweigh the  costs.
