Ive  tried  that before and it doesn't  work on most maps. The Burning  Shrine  is  a map  where you could run around because its mostly tight corridors and small rooms  with very little open space. Another thing that  I forgot about shotguns is judging the aim of  your  shot. You need to be able  to  guarantee  a kill at the distance you're at or you  will be left cocking the next shot and that will usually  get you killed.
