The work of the consultation workshop on the implementation of the Niger REN ended Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Niamey.<br>
<br>
Among the major achievements include the adoption of the draft of the Statute of REN and the establishment of a Task Force of five persons for the preparation of the Constitutive General Assembly.<br>
<br>
The workshop asked the Task Force to make every effort to hold the Constituent General Assembly as of Saturday, December 17, 2011. The workshop welcomed the active contribution of Boubakar Barry of AAU (RENU) and Representative of MaliREN, Tidiani Togola.<br>

The government of Niger and all participants expressed their gratitude to AAU for these ongoing efforts to the establishment of RNEN and WACREN.<br>
