The Association of African Universities (AAU) and the UbuntuNet Alliance
(UA) have signed a MoU in which the 2 organisations commit themselves to
work together and with other stakeholders to promote research and education
networking in Africa (http://www.aau.org/renu/docs/aau-ua_mou.pdf).

The MoU gives a formal framework to the cooperation that exists between the
2 organisations since the creation of the UA and the establishment of a REN
Unit at AAU.
